Today I want to show you one of my best performing ads over the past month.

What’s cool about this ad is that I’ve been successfully running this exact creative since October 2016 for three different clients in totally different industries.

With a little creativity, I’ll bet you can use it in your niche also.

Now here’s why this ad creative works so well…

It doesn’t really look like an ad. It looks like content.

On Facebook, people don’t really like clicking ads.

In fact, our eyes are trained to ignore ads.

People notice this ad and click on it because it doesn’t look like a typical ad (CTR for this ad has been consistently higher that 2.3%).

However, in order to not be too misleading we did state the price in the ad so they know we’re selling something.

You can see from the image above that it’s also generating lots of post engagement including shares and comments.

I hope you found this helpful.

Now… Please do me a favor and comment below to let me know if you want more content like this with examples and explanations of successful ads.

Or let me know if you want a different type of content from me. I’m here to serve you.

Be in touch,

Aaron

  1. Very surprising to see that such an ad would work well. Esp. since the woman doesn’t look shocked (little connection with copy line).

Would love to see more examples. thx!

  2. Yes, would love to see more examples and screenshots like this with your analysis.

So for this particular ad, you are saying it’s all about the photo and that drives all the clicks regardless of what the text says?

  3. Hi Aaron,
I’m new to Facebook advertising I’ve just discovered your blog( on Google by searching Facebook ads for ecommerce) oweseme content, my question will a direct to product offer work for a cold audience with the right targeting?
Example I’m selling chocolate gift boxes, can I target people who like other big chocolate brands, spouses birthday, or should I run other ads first to capture their email and later retarget my customers?

  4. Hi Aaron,
